Having helped IFF launch and implement their Corporate branding, as well as having worked so closely with the fine fragrance team for as long as we have, LQ was in a unique position to help solve this challenge. Fine Fragrances had the main components of their own branding in place – but how could we connect them to the master brand in a way that felt authentic? Further, we needed to create visual examples that covered the array of use-cases found within the fine fragrance world.
The guidelines we created connected directly to the foundational principles of the IFF master brand. Avoiding both design jargon and corporate speak, we kept things as simple as possible for our company-wide stakeholders. We solved for as many permutations of the design language as we could think of, creating mockups for visual guidance across both physical and digital spaces.
Our combination of focused brand guidelines and thoughtful template creation convey the unique creativity and emotional connectivity of the fine fragrance industry.
